Amara Dress

A study in texture and movement, this strapless gown pairs an intricately worked Chantilly lace bodice with a dramatic, tiered tulle skirt. The lace is hand-painted in Como, giving the surface a softened, artisanal depth that feels more painterly than traditionally decorative.

The bodice is closely fitted and lightly elongated through the waist, allowing the delicacy of the lace to sit in contrast with the volume below. Fine floral motifs trace across the corseted shape, while the softly scalloped edge brings a refined finish to the neckline.

From the waist, layers of pleated tulle unfold in cascading tiers, creating a skirt that feels airy, kinetic and architectural at once. The repeated ruffles build volume without weight, catching the light as they move and giving the silhouette an almost cloud-like quality.

At the back, a lace-up corset detail reinforces the gown’s structure while preserving its softness. Romantic in material but modern in proportion, the design balances the intimacy of hand-worked lace with the drama of an expansive, sculptural skirt.
